Royal Gaels

The Intermediate girls will play Dunboyne in Dunboyne next Tuesday at 7.30pm. Our Junior C team game was postponed on Wednesday and the game will now take place in Dunshaughlin at 6.30pm on Saturday. Well done to the Intermediate team who opened their championship with a comprehensive 4-17 to 1-04 win over Summerhill.

Congrats to all the girls who took part in the Regional Feile in Mountmellick last Saturday. They played some fantastic football but unfortunately did not qualify for the final.

Best Wishes to Aoibhinn Bracken, Meadhbh Byrne and Meibh Reilly who will represent us on The Meath U14 team in their All Ireland B final v Tipperary in McDonagh Park Nenagh at 1.30pm on Saturday.

Our Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others have entered 2 teams in the Leinster Blitz in Athlone on Saturday and we'd like to wish them well.

Sympathies

Everyone in the club would like to offer their condolences to the O'Brien family on the passing of Maureen. Our thoughts are also with the Davis family in this difficult time on the passing of Teresa.

Meath Team

Best Wishes to the Meath team who take on Derry next weekend in the 1st Round of the Qualifiers in Owenbeg.

Well done boys

On 25/6/16 Cathal McCormack, Matthew Costello and Luke Mitchell represented Meath against Cavan on their own grounds. All three acquitted themselves admirably in another win for these very promising group of players. Next week promises to be a challenging one for them as they are meeting the Dubs in Abbottstown
