Kilmainham v Wolfe Tones

Kilmainham notched up their second win in the JFC D championship with a narrow victory over neighbours Wolfe Tones.
This game was played with great passion and local rivalry.
Shane Morgan opened the scoring for Kilmainham with a point in the opening seconds of the game.
Andy Arkins pointed in the 13th min and Shane Morgan finished with a pt in 16th min.
This was Kilmainham's last score in the first half but Wolfe Tones failed to pull away from Kilmainham and the deficit at the break was 2pts.
Andy Arkins was the first score for Kilmainham in the second half scoring a fine point which he received from Shane Morgan from the kick out.
Arkins then passed it to Dean Peppard who drew the defenders and sweetly passed back to Andy Arkins who gracefully slotted it over the bar.
On the 5th min Dean Peppard was on target with a point and on the 9th min Pat O Sullivan duly pointed.
On the 13th and 17th min Shane Morgan conjured up two points from play with great team work before Stephen Woods got a score with a superb long range shot to leave it all square with 10 minutes to go.
On the 21st min Shane Butler scored to put Kilmainham ahead by a point but the game was suspended for about 8/10 mins because of a reckless challenge on Shane Morgan which seen the player being carried from the field.
After the resume of play Terence Daly netted a suburb goal.
Wolfe Tones slotted over 2pts in the 37th and 40th mins from frees leaving the minimum between the teams.
However, Kilmainham displayed great defensive form with all playing with guts and determination.
