Reigning champions Kilmessan came out convincing winners over a youthful Kildalkey side last tues evening in Kildalkey. The home side found the going tough from the get go and struggled to get any ball into their forward line with Kilmessan's half back line of Maeve O'Leary, Ailbhe Lynch and Tracy King dominating that area and with the constant supply of quality ball to the Kilmessan forwards, Kildalkey were unable to match Kilmessan's pace and movement up front. Six first half goals for Kilmessan ended the match as a contest, Kildalkey only managing one point from a free for the entire match. 

Kilmessan now go into the exam break as the only team unbeaten in this years championship thus far however they are well aware tougher challenges lie ahead.

Best for Kilmessan were the half back line mentioned above along with mid-fielder Caoimhe O'Leary, full forward Ashling Mc Loughlin and half forward Aisling Walsh. Best for Kildalkey were Aine and Blaithnaid Keogh.
