Louth turned down Pairc Tailteann offer

Meath pause for the National Anthem before the start of the Leinster SFC quarter final against Wicklow at Pairc Tailteann
Meath Leinster Council representative Brendan Cummins has revealed that Louth turned down the offer to play Meath at Pairc Tailteann in the Leinster SFC next summer.
Cummins reported to last night's County Board meeting that the Wee County said no to playing the Royal County at Pairc Tailteann should they overcome Carlow in Portlaoise on Saturday, May 14.
If that result occurs the venue will be Parnell Park and Pairc Tailteann if the team from the south-east advances.
The Dunsany clubman said that a request for Croke Park to be made available for a possible Meath v Louth clash was turned down.
