Brendan Lynch celebrates his point and Andy Collins clears his lines.

When it comes to committment to the cause few can compare to the efforts made by Brendan Lynch and Andy Collins over the weekend as Seneschalstown claimed the Meath Junior B football championship title.

Brendan is currently studying in Holland and just as he did for the semi-final he flew home on Friday night to tog out in the final.

Andy has been based in England for the past few years but the dual Keegan Cup winner has commuted over and back to represent his club since he emigrated.

Both of these men made a huge committment to get home for games as the Championship reached its closing stages and played an integral role in bringing the Fr. Tully Cup home.

Brendan was sprung from the bench at half time and used his pace to great effect in the second half as he popped up all over the attack and sent over a brilliant left footed point - so much for the left only being for standing on Brendan!

Andy has long been regarded as one of the most talented full backs in the county and he showed all his class and experience as he helped limit the St. Vincents attack to just 1-07 over the hour.
