JFC: Curraha march to semi final

Curraha recorded a comfortable win over Navan O'Mahonys in this Meath Junior Football Championship quarter final game under lights at Duleek.

Already in the running for Club of the Year, Curraha have won the Tailteann Cup, are in the Division 4 All County League final and the Junior D football championship decider.

The winners led 1-7 to 0-4 at the break. County star James McEntee got in for the goal after 10 minutes. Fines scores from Neil Shortall, Ciaran O'Hanrahan, David Toner, Evan McGovern and free taker Conor Moriarty gave the men in green and gold that six point interval lead.

Ciaran O'Hanrahan bagged a brace of goals in the second half and with McEntee, Toner and Moriarty raising white flags Curraha ran out comfortable winners.
