Rival managers Dudley Farrell (Nobber) and Donal Curtis (Castletown)
Castletown advanced to the Intermediate football championship quarter final with six points to spare over neighbours Syddan at Meath Hill.
Donal Curtis' charges led by 3 at half time 0-8 to 0-5 and went on to record a 0-15 to 0-9 victory.
The winners play another neighbour, Nobber, in the quarter final next Saturday in Drumconrath. The two clubs met in the Tailteann Cup final last month with Dudley Farrell's side coming out on top.
