'A' leagues complete

Ballinabrackey were crowned Division 3 champions with a final day win over Meath Hill at Pairc Tailteann.

Its the beginning of August and great to see that our All County Football Leagues are complete.

Division 1

Holders Dunboyne will contest the Division 1 decider against Dunshaughlin. Both clubs won ten games but St Peters, only losing one match, finished a point ahead of their neighbours. Last years beaten finalists Na Fianna finished mid table. Promoted Blackhall Gaels and Ballinlough found the going tough and will spend 2016 operating in Division 2.

Division 2

High flying Gaeil Colmcille are back up to Division 1. The Feis Cup champions along with St Colmcilles will contest the Division 2 final. Both clubs finished level at the top on 21 points. Unlucky Walterstown were a loint behind in third place. Last years Junior Football Champions Cortown along with Oldcastle make the drop to Division 3.

Division 3

Ballinabrackey finished top and were crowned champions with their final day victory over second place Meath Hill. Both clubs will relish the prospect of Division 2 football next year. Promoted from Division 4 last season, Longwood and St Marys struggled in Division 3 and are relegated. The Donore outfit failed to register a point.

Division 4

What a year already for Curraha. Tailteann Cup winners and the only team with a 100% record in the league. Played 11 won 11 and 195 points for with only 85 against. Its also turning out to be a fine season for Dunsany. They will contest the decider finishing second, five points behind the leaders. Moylagh finished bottom recording one win from their 11 games.
