Kildalkey played kiltale in the semi final of the league and finished up on the wrong side of a 1-14 to 0-13 score line Kildalkey started well and with a points from paddy Coneely set them off but unfortunately for the blues just after that they lost their talisman with injury but they knuckled down and stuck to their task and went in a point to the good at half time 0-8 to 0-7 . The second half was nip and tuck and good points from Sean Heavey and Ducksy doran kept them in it but a mistake in the rearguard let in kiltale for a goal and gave them the lead they never relinquished .The Kildalkey half back line of Martin Doran Sean Corrigan and Maurice Keogh were outstanding for Kildalkey and Ducksy Doran tried hardest up front.
