Simonstown defeated Dunsany in the All-County 'B' League Div:4 on a final score line of 3-7 v. 2-8 in a game played in Dunsany on Friday July 24th.

Simonstown led 3-3 v. 1-5 at half-time, thanks to two goals from midfielder Chris O'Neill and the other from centre-forward Eoin Prior.

Matthew Melvin scored 0-2 and wing back Ronan Smith got the other point. In the second half Simonstown improved their lead thanks to Willie Stynes and Gary McDonagh. Chris O'Neill added another 0-2 to his tally. Dunsany rallied however and scored a goal from a penalty in the 20th minute. The gap narrowed to two points and this is how the game ended, 3-7 v.2-8. Simonstown were lucky to hold out  to record their third victory in the league.
