Both teams enjoyed successful senior championship outings in round 3 but it was Kilmessan who came out on top against Dunboyne in this Division 1 Hurling League semi final at Lomans Park Trim.
Kilmessan held a two point interval lead 0-8 to 0-6. Stephen Clynch made a return to action and got the crucial goal in the second half. Nicky Horan top scored for the winners with seven points.
The winners will play Kiltale or Kildalkey in the final.
