KILLARY EMMETS 4-18 DULEEK/BELLEWSTOWN 3-4

Eoin Lynch Duff accounted for 1-10 as Killary Emmets turned on the style in the second half of this U-16 summer league opener at Castletown.

The inform corner forward got off the mark with a fourth minute goal and also contributed four first half points as his side led 2-7 to 3-3 at the break.

The second goal for the Syddan/Castletown combination came courtesy of Cillian Price, while Cathal Duff, Christopher Deans and Price scored the remaining points.

It was one-way traffic throughout the third quarter as Cathal Duff and Cillian Price added quick-fire goals to help stretch the lead 4-12 to 3-3.

Stephen Tallon, Padraic Dillon, Cormac Rafferty and Oisin Lynch Duff also got in on the scoring act before the finish.
