Strictly Come Dancing
Last Friday we held our third Strictly Come Dancing event in the Knightsbrook Hotel.  Following months of organisation the event was a huge success with all fifteen couples wowing the judges.  However there could only be one winner on the night and Eoin Battersby and Joyce McDonagh were the couple which came out on top after a scintillating display of dancing. 

Our thanks to the organising committee who put on a brilliant night and to all who helped out in the venue.

Senior
The Senior side had a well-deserved victory over Simonstown Gaels in Round 6 of the League last Wednesday to leave them on five points.  Next up in the League is a game against Navan O'Mahonys in Fr. Tully Park on Sunday May 31st at 12:00.

In the Hoganstand.com Senior Football Championship they will be in action against Donaghmore/Ashbourne this Sunday at 15:30 in Stamullen.  This is a vital game for the side as they look to claim their first points in Group B.

Junior B
Following the passing of Meath legend Michéal O'Brien our B League Division 1 game against Skryne last Sunday was called off as a mark of respect.  Our sympathies to all in the Skryne club and especially to the family of the late Michéal. 

The team will be back in action this coming Sunday when they take on neighbours Slane in Round 3 of the Seamus Connolly Catering Junior B Football Championship at 17:00 in Stamullen. 

Junior D
The Junior D side travelled to Drumconrath last Saturday to take on their hosts in the latest round of the B League Division 5 and with numbers thin on the ground fell to a heavy 3-21 to 0-07 defeat.  Eoin Finnegan led the way on the scoring front with 0-03, while Colin Lynch, Eddie Meade, Shane Mulvany and Mark Gleeson all chipped in with a point. 

While they are finding the League a struggle so far this year the side have been motoring well in the Championship and will be looking to maintain their 100% record when taking on Moylagh in Moynalty on Saturday evening at 19:00. 

Minor
The Minor side saw their League winning ambitions ended on Monday evening when falling to defeat against Na Fianna in Fr. Tully Park.  Shorn of the services of some key players due to injury and with others short of full fitness they were performing well at the three quarter stage when the scores were tied at 2-08 apiece.  Na Fianna though got on top as the injuries began to catch up with the home side and by the time the hour was up the Enfield/Baconstown outfit had won out by 4-16 to 2-09. 

The Minor football will now take a break for the State Examinations and following these the side will regroup before mounting their Championship challenge. 

Under 16
Our U-16 side played Trim in a back match on Sunday evening and after building up an impressive lead at the end of the first half won out by 2-11 to 1-07.  This result confirmed the side's passage through to the semi-finals. 

Under 14
The U-14 team will take on Clann na Gael in Fr. Tully Park in Round 7 of the League this evening (Tuesday) in Fr. Tully Park at 20:00.  These two sides are currently tied atop the table with ten points from six matches and a titanic struggle is anticipated.  A large support down in the field this evening to cheer them on would be greatly appreciated. 

The U-14's will also be going to Féile in June and will have a fundraising "Come Dine With Me" in the clubhouse on Sunday evening while we also have a number of items up for auction including a week away in Donegal and signed jerseys from Rugby, Gaelic Football, Hurling and Soccer.  Further details can be found on our Facebook Page. 

Under 12
Our U-12 side took on Navan O'Mahonys last Saturday in the League and following a very good display were unlucky to lose out.  These boys are improving with every performance and continue to work hard. 

Seneschalstown Nursery
Coaching continues in Kentstown this Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 for our U-6, U-8 and U-10 sides.  The U-10's will also train in Kentstown this evening from 19:00 - 20:00.

Girls Under 14:
The U-14 Girls had a very impressive win away to Oldcastle in the semi-final of the Division 2 League last Sunday evening, emerging victorious by 7-09 to 2-06. 

This Saturday they will take on St. Colmcilles in the Final at 17:30 in Ratoath.  Best of luck girls. 

Coaching continues for this brilliant side on Monday evenings from 19:00 - 20:00 in Fr. Tully Park. 

Lotto
The numbers drawn in this week's Lotto were 9, 10, 11 and 24.  There was no winner of the jackpot of €7,300 which means next week's jackpot will be worth €7,400.  The 5 by €25 winners were Finian O'Dea & Caroline Mooney, David Mooney, Noel McLoughlin, Pat Crosby and Violet Brien.

Meath Minors
Congratulations to the Meath Minors who overcame a tough Louth challenge by 0-12 to 0-11 to qualify for the Leinster Championship semi-final last Saturday. 

Meath Under 15
Adam O'Mara and Dylan Keating represented us with the Meath U-15's in Kildare last weekend.  The two lads acquitted themselves excellently. 

Meath U-14
Well done to Cathal Hickey, Joseph Moore, Sean Commons and Simon Rooney who were selected to travel to Laois last Saturday for a four county blitz.  On the day the Meath side they played on won two of the three games they played on what was a very good day for the team.

Cúl Camp
This year the club will once more play host to a Kellogg's Cúl Camp.  This year's camp will take place from July 13-17. 

Meath Ladies U-21's
Best of luck to Meath U-21's on Sunday when they take on reigning All Ireland Champions Dublin in the opening round of the Aisling McGing Championship at 14:00 in Dunboyne. 

Meath Ladies U-16
Hard luck to Kiah Geraghty and the Meath U-16's who lost out to Dublin in the Leinster Final on Sunday by 3-10 to 1-10.  Kiah lined out at full forward and while she chipped in with three points it wasn't enough to help Meath win. 

Meath Ladies U-14's
Well done to Sorcha Gough and the Meath U-14's who got to the final of the All Ireland Blitz in Laois on Saturday before losing out to Cork by 4-06 to 2-03.
