Meath Hill 3-10
Dunderry 1-11

Meath Hill came out on top in this league game played in Meath Hill on Sunday at noon.

Ian Malone added a point to his tally before Chris Yorke pointed a free to leave the score at 1-8 to 0-8 at half time.

The second half started much the same as the first with Dunderry starting the brightest and they were denied a goal by a good save from Dominic Yorke. They did however get a goal shortly after as a high ball was punched into the back of the net. But Meath Hill replied straight back with a goal of their own as Pierce McGrath laid the ball of to midfielder Jason Yorke and he drove the ball in top corner from 18 yards out with a rasping shot to leave the score at 2-8 to 1-9. Chris Yorke then pointed a 45 before Jason Yorke scored his second goal with cool finish after catching a good pass from Tommy Rooney. Meath Hill rounded off the scoring with a late Chris Yorke free to leave 5 points between the teams at the finish. Overall Meath Hill will be very happy with the team performance and will be looking to build on it with championship next Saturday against Summerhill.
