Kilmainhamwood's second string put in a dominant team performance, to return to winning ways in Round 4 of the B League, by putting Dunderry to the sword and inflicting a 31 point drumming, Tuesday evening past, the 12th of May.

After a defeat to table toppers O'Mahony's in the last round, the 'Wood re-grouped and with the introduction of the likes of David Russell and Shane Clarke now into the team, Kilmainhamwood set out their intent to not only win the match but send out a warning that they are to be considered one of the favourites for the competition.

It took the 'Wood a couple of minutes to settle, as a few of their earlier efforts went wayword, but when they found their scoring boots, they did so with intent and finished the first half with seven players registering scores, through all six forwards and midfielder Gary Yorke. Kilmainhamwood's first half goals came via Darren Owens and midfielder Yorke. The defence was also solid for the 'Wood as they kept Dunderry scoreless in the first half, as Kilmainhamwood went into half time 2-08 to no score to the good.

Dunderry made the better start to the second half and registered not only the first of the half, but their first of the game, but again Kilmainhamwood settled and their dominance continued and they registered two further second half goals via wing back Paul Carolan and substitute Michael Berrill, further points from Junior 'D' winning captain, Tommy 'the tank' Owens, David Russell, Ray Magee, Cathal Bennett and midfielders Gary Yorke and Shane Clarke, left the 'Wood outscoring Dunderry 2-14 to 0-03 in the second half.

It was a great overall team performance from the 'Wood, with defenders Paul Carolan, Jude Collins, midfielders Gary Yorke, Shane Clarke and forwards David Russell and Ray Magee helping their side run out winners on a scoreline of 4-22 to 0-03.
