Dunderry's Conor O'Shea with Trim's Mark McCormack during the 2nd round of the IFC at Cortown

Trim staged a smash and grab IFC win over Dunderry in the 7pm throw in at Cortown.

Dunderry led at the break with Simon Carthy getting their goal. After a comfortable opening round win over Ballivor, Stephen O'Rourke's charges looked good for victory leading 1-8 to 0-8 as the game entered its final minutes but Trim staged their late rally. Eoin McGrath found the Dunderry net to level and James Toher sent over his eighth free to seal victory with the last kick of the ball.
