April 14, 2015

Great value

Treasurer Brendan Dempsey reported to the April meeting of the County Committee that a decision had been taken to continue to the five euro admission charge for games in the group stages of the championships.

He called for people collecting at the gates to be extra vigilant to ensure that everybody pays into matches.

However, secretary Francis Flynn related an instance of players from an unnamed club saying they forgot to bring their passes, having already given them to other club members.

Flynn that all clubs are allocated a total of 38 passes and all 38 given to the offending club were eventually handed over. He said that if such happened again the club in question will be sent a bill for outstanding money.
