Pairc Tailteann pitch surface criticised

There was plenty of dust when O'Mahonys played Seneschalstown in the opening round.
Dunshaughlin delegate Paddy Ward was critical of the pitch in Pairc Tailteann, saying it was in a terrible condition, at Monday night's County Committee meeting in Navan.
Chairman Conor Tormey agreed with Ward's sentiments and said it will be rested for four days before the Leinster MFC game against Laois next Saturday. Tormey added that a lack of growth was a problem and the pitch will also be kept free of action for a period next week.
