Kilbride remembers the late May Mahon

April 13, 2015

Nothing gave May more pleasure than seeing her grandchildren lining out for Kilbride.

Kilbride and Meath has lost one of their most true and loyal supporters.

May Mahon was a true royal travelling all over Ireland supporting Meath and her beloved club Kilbride. May played camogie for the club and was a corner stone of the tightly knit community.

Her husband Tommy was chairman for over thirty years but for one man to hold such a position for so long was only made possible because of May's dedication as encouragement to her family and club.

It was only last week she seen her grandchildren line out against Duleek/ Bellewstown because she never failed to to let ill health stop her from seeing them play.

May Mahon passed away peacefully on Friday evening.

She will be sadly missed from our side lines and her wheelcair space in Pairc Tailteann,

Gone but never forgotten. May she rest in peace...
