Peel and Troy short listed

Meath stars Emma Troy and Michelle Peel.
Following a very successful O'Connor Cup Weekend at CIT last weekend, 31 players have made the short list for the Ladies HEC All Star nominations.
Two Meath inter county footballers have made the short list. Donaghmore Ashbourne's Michelle Peel and Emma Troy Boardsmill. Peel captained Trinity College to a 1-16 to 1-9 win over Athlone IT to claim the Giles Cup. Troy was part of the St Pats Drumcondra team that went under to Athlone in the semi final.
The final All Star team will be announced next week and they will be presented with their specially commissioned All Star Awards on Saturday 18th April.
