Royal Gaels - Meath Feile Champions
Last weekend's thrilling Under 14 Girl's Feile Co. Blitz was held at five key venues throughout the County.
In all, 27 clubs battled to compete for the honour of representing Meath in the 2015 National Feile which be held this year at the end of June at venues in Carlow, Wicklow and Wexford.
After an exciting and often nailbiting first day of top quality matches in venues across the county, the finalists congregated for a second day of action in Dunganny.
An exhautsing weekend of matches which showcased some superb GAA, came down to two teams in the Cup Final playing the game of their lives. At the end of the first half it was neck and neck with Royal Gaels on 0:3 and Dunboyne with a goal in the bag. Royal Gaels then put in a trojan effort for the second half and won convincingly with a final Score of 3:5 to 2:2.
Dunshaughlin GAA's Royal Gaels under 14 girls will now go on to represent Meath in the National Feile at the end of June.
