A Donaghmore Ashbourne goal scoring frenzy was the difference was the home team made little work of Dunshaughlin in Ashbourne on Thursday night.

An early Donaghmore Ashbourne goal after just 30 seconds meant Dunshaughlin were always going to be up against it but in fairness did manage to get some scores on the board following some sharp shooting from Martin Reilly and Trevor Dowd but the moores finished the half strongly by bagging another goal to have them leading by 11 points at half time. Dunshaughlin did manage to put another 1-06 on the scoreboard courtesy of David McMahon, James Rattigan , Duncan Gerahgty and Trevor Dowd while club veteran Peter Rattigan managed to get the black and ambers first goal of the night with 3  minutes left to play that seen Donaghmore Ashbourne run out convincing winners.
