Meath players involved in HA GAA ladies finals

Meath will be well represented at the Higher Education Ladies Gaelic Football (Tier 2 Giles Cup) Competition at the Cork Institute of Technology (IT) next weekend (Fri 20th & Sat 21st), with at least seven county players participating.
The semi finals will involve St Patricks Training College Drumcondra v Athlone IT; and Trinity College Dublin v Tralee IT. St Pats will have five Meath players - Emma Troy, Laura Bagnall, Shiofra Cleary, Aoibheann Leahy and Shauna Ennis while Trinity will have team captain Michelle Peel and Meabh Downey.
If the results go the right way we could see seven Meath players in the final, with Donaghmore/Ashbourne club mates Shiofra Cleary and Michelle Peel locked in battle; as will Na Fianna club mates Shauna Ennis and Meabh Downey. Best of luck to all concerned.
