Dunshaughlin notched up 1-2 in the first ten minutes in the match played in Grangegodden Kells's new pitch. Gaeil Colmcille scored from a penalty and Brian Hanlon added four more points. Half time Gaeil Colmcille 1-6 to Dunshaughlin 1-2.
Second half was point for point until K Reilly and D Roche added two points each to run out four points winners. Best for Gaeil Colmcille was Robbie Flanagan, Cormac Keegan, Brian Hanlon and Keith Reilly.
