Kilmainhamwood GFC travelled to Moylagh for the first round of the 2015 Tailteann Cup and returned home with a handsome victory.

Buoyed on by 1-2 from play from the returning prodigal son Paudi Owens and debut brothers Peter & Micheál Flood, the 'Wood elected to play with the wind in the first half. Stephen Kiernan was also in fine form and chipped in with 1-4, Johnny Keogan too had his scoring boots on and helped himself to 1-1, David Russell grabbed two points with Alan Carolan and Harry Corbally raising a white flag with a point a piece. Kilmainhamwood lead at half-time 1-06 to 0-02 and two early second half goals ensured that the brought home the laurels.

Best for Kilmainhamwood were Philip Moran, Micheál Flood, Alan Carolan in defence and Stephen Kiernan & Paudi Owens in attack with Michael Shankey linking defense and attack.
