Gaeil Colmcille overcame St Peters Dunboyne in the Feis cup at Dunboyne on Sunday.

It was even-stephen for the first 20 minutes with Dunboyne edging in front with the aid of the wind until just before half-time the Kells side netted. Half time score:  Gaeil Colmcille 1-5 St Peters Dunboyne 0-7

Dunboyne against the wind in the second half got a point from Conor Daly and a minute later scored a great goal to put his side in-front.

Seanie Curran gave a "man of the match" display for the winners with his attacking runs up field. Brian Hanlon sent over two points with Seamus Mattimoe having a field day with getting  1-7 to leave Gaeil Colmcille side winning by two points.

Best for Dunboyne : Conor Daly, Tom O'Connor, Damien Sweeney and David Gallagher

Dunboyne's hand was weakened when two of their players, one in either half were red carded.
