Plenty of scores in the opening round of the minor football league.
Defending Division 1 league and championship winners were sent packing by St Colmcilles. The Moores proved too strong for Dunshaughlin. St Vincents / Curraha and St Michaels hit 4-15 each. Oldcastle had ten points to spare over Killary Emmets. Ratoath and Na Fianna finish level in a nine goal thriller while St Cuthbert hit the back of the Nobber net six times.
