The Na Fianna Ladies Football AGM took place on Tuesday, January 27th 2015, at 9pm in Enfield Club House.
The ladies football members and players wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank outgoing Chairman Seán Kirby for his outstanding services to the club. Seán is a dedicated club member who devoted much of his time to the ladies football team over the past 11 years. In his time involved he brought them from Junior to Senior ranks. He will be missed by all involved. We wish Seán all the best for the future.
Special thanks is also due to long term serving Secretary Ann Wall for her incredible work over the years. Ann carried out colossal work behind the scenes. She was an intrinsic part of our ladies team as well as the Juvenile Section. We are extremely grateful for her input both on and off the field.
Ann will continue to be involved with Ladies Football where she takes on the role Injury Claims Officer on the Meath Ladies County Board. Trish Hanley will be part of the Disciplinary Committee for 2015. Best wishes to you both as you embark on these new adventures.
Thanks is due to the managers, selectors, mentors, players and all others who gave and continue to give their time to represent our club. 2014 saw plenty of new faces come aboard, especially in the Juvenile Section. We hope this will continue this year.
The Senior Ladies Panel wish to take this opportunity to welcome Frank Byrne aboard as trainer for 2015. Frank worked with Balyna Ladies for a number of years and is also involved in training Kildare County Teams. Best of luck for 2015.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome a new committee for 2015. We have no doubt that these people will continue the incredible work of previous committees, to ensure continued success of Na Fianna Ladies Football.
