There are call ups for Trim pair Colm Doyle and Alan Douglas. Last years minor hurling captain Charlie Bird maintains his place in goal. Team captain Sean Heavey is partnered in midfield by Blackhall's Stephen Morris. Kilmessan's Eoin Marsh returns to the fray while Hurler of the Year Jack Regan, the only representative from county champions Kiltale, takes his place on the half forward line.

Throw in at Pairc Tailteann is 12.15 with the Meath versus Dublin O'Byrne Cup semi final to follow.
