Awards: Best XV from the IHC

January 09, 2015

In the end the title went to Dunderry

David Gilkenson was the hero for Dunderry with five late second half points that saw off the Kilskyre challenge in the Intermediate Hurling championship decider.

Under former Westmeath star Pat Clancy, Kilskyre surprised many by getting to the decider. The North Meath club defeated a previously unbeaten Drumree in the semi-final.

Dunderry accounted for favourites Ratoath in their semi-final with a last minute goal from Jordan Martyn.

2013 Junior Championship winners Moylagh enjoyed a good season while Gaeil Colmcille, Donaghmore Ashbourne and Clann Na nGael will hope to improve on their 2014 performances.
