League Champions

Well done to the footballers on Sunday when they lifted the A league division 2 cup after a dramatic finish in Navan. In a nail biting finish Sean Whelans injury time point was the difference between the teams. Ballinlough had led for most of the game but the Gaels showed some serious resolve and got over the line with the minimum to spare. The win was made even more sweeter when second half substitute Alan Nestor returned to the field of play after a battle with cancer. Inspirational stuff all round and well done to the players and management.
