At the well attended AGM of Drumconrath GFC two of the three positions at the Top Table changed hands.

Chairman for the past 12 years Councillor Michael Gallagher stepped down and was replaced by Paul Carey.

Gallagher has overseen many different events over his 12 year tenure the highlight being the appearance of the Club in its 1st Intermediate Final in 2006 where the club was narrowly beaten by Rathkenny. In the following years the Club went through some very tough days which seen them relegated to Junior A and very close to a 2nd drop which was thankfully avoided. In recent years the Club's form has improved and for the past 2 years have become a force in Junior Football again.

Gallagher received many compliments for his loyal and lengthy service as Chairman from many of the members present and he himself thanked everyone for their support over years.

The other change at the Top Table occurred when Assistance Secretary Joanna Duff defeated the Secretary for the past 3 years Micheál Og Ó Gallachoir in a vote. Club members thanked the Current Irish Language and Cultural Officer at County Board Level for his work and he wished Joanna all the best in 2015. Ó Gallachoir was returned as Assistant Secretary.

In other new appointments Loretta O'Halloran was returned as Assistant Treasurer, Eileen Weldon as PRO, Lenore McGahan as Children's Officer and Kevin Flanagan as Insurance Officer.

Pat & Ann Dempsey where thanked as main Sponsors and it was announced by Treasurer Mary O'Neill that they have agreed to continue for 2015.

Sean Kane was unveiled as Team Manager as Drumconrath return to an in house approach that was last seen in 2006 when the Club almost made the step up to Senior and he will be assisted by Vincent McEvoy and Cathal Byrne with a few other appointment to the Management team expected to be announced in early 2015.
