Dunboyne's Jack Donnelly beats Na Fianna's Sean Coffey to the ball during the Meath U15 Division 1 FL final at Lomans Park.

St Peters Dunboyne were crowned Meath Under 15 Division 1 football league champions with this five point win over Na Fianna at Lomans Park Trim.

St Peters Dunboyne 3-8
Na Fianna 1-9

The winners were guilty of some bad wides in the early stages of the first half and were rocked on the 7th minute when Vincent Ward fisted home a goal for Na Fianna. Shane Walsh extended their lead with a pointed free before Dunboyne got off the mark. Glen Mulvey sent over and Paddy Conway added another to half the lead. Walsh had a goal disallowed before Na Fianna stretched their lead to four with points from Jack McNally and Walsh (free). But from there on St Peters took over and added 1-3 with out reply. Josh McCloskey got the Peters goal and they went in at the break 1-5 to 1-4 in front.

That lead was out to four points in the early stages of the second half when Daragh Gilmartin finished to the Na Fianna net. Peters centre back Daniel Comiskey was black carded and Na Fianna hit back with points from Walsh and Kean Flynn. Dunboyne made sure of victory with their third goal on the 20th minute. The impressive Josh McCloskey showed great persistance to find the back of the Na Fianna net. Walsh (2) and Daniel Devine narrowed the gap but Glen Mulvey sent over a free to assure Dunboyne of victory with time almost up.
