Country Pride - Dance Night
Come Dancing "Country Pride Dance Band" made a welcome return to St.Patricks Gaa Centre last month. As before this proved out to be a  great enjoyable social evening for all that attended & continues to gather the crowds from the older generation. Thanks to all that attended on the night. Also held within the last month was the return of the Junior Disco for 8/12yr olds. Proving to be another success for the club attracted a lot of the underage children for a fun night of dancing and meeting up with their friends. Thanks to St.Pats members for a Fully Supervised night who deputisied on the night for both events. Due to the clubs AGM's at both Senior & Juvenile taken place in the last two Friday's in November both Events will return in 2015.

Pella
Recently installed in our Astro Turf & also in our indoor (see images on facebook) is the new Pella facility. Pella is an indoor version of Gaelic football, which can be played as a five a side game, in an indoor arena or on an all weather pitch. This was recently featured on RTE's "Thank Gaa Its Friday".
Also Pucpella is 5 a side indoor hurling, played using the specially designed 'Pella' goals and 24 inch hurleys with a rubber 'Bas'. It is an all-action game where play only stops after a score or when a free is being taken. Unlike 'Pella' the walls are in play and players have to learn to react to the rebounds and sudden changes of direction that this allows. It was invented and developed by former Meath players Sean Kelly and Frank Foley which is proving popular in schools around the Royal County, Louth, Kildare and Dublin. Also a fan is recently retired former Meath captain Seamus Kenny - Kenny is the county board's Games Manager and he speaks about the benefits Pella has in coaching youngsters. For more information go to  HYPERLINK "http://www.pella.ie/"http://www.pella.ie/ Those wishing to rent the facility for Pella or Pucpella contact our club reception.

The Pre Loved Dress took place back on Friday 10th October.  St.Pats LGFA held this event with the chance of picking up many top designer dresses for as little as €10.  With every purchase made you entered into a free draw on the night.  Also available on the night were jewellery stands displaying wondering designs of the latest fashions and health products. All moneys raised on the night went towards the ladies section and any dresses that were left over on night were donated to local charity shops.
