Wayne Brennan gains possession for St Michaels against Clann Na nGael.

St. Michaels recorded their first win in this years U-13 league campaign with a well deserved victory over Clan na nGael in Athboy on Sunday morning. There was little between the sides at the end of the first half with St. Michaels holding a slender one point lead after goals from Brian Reilly and Wayne Brennan helped them to a 2-4 to 3-0 interval lead.    

St. Michaels turned in a much stronger second half performance raising 4 more green flags as Wayne Brennan completed his hat trick and one each from Brian Reilly and Matthew Carolan.  1-Along with the scorers Paddy Finnegan, Justin McPhillips, Cian Curran, Ben Gaffney, Liam Farrelly and Brian O'Reilly were others who put in good performances for St. Michaels.
