Championship Update. Down to semi finals and finals

Nothing like a good game of football and a cuppa. Enjoying the hospitality at Moylagh during the Ballinlough versus Dunderry IFC quarter final.

So now we know. Its O'Mahonys versus Wolfe Tones and Donaghmore Ashbourne versus Na Fianna in the senior. Ballinlough v Castletown and Ratoath v Ballinabrackey in the intermediate.

Navan O'Mahonys set up a semi final meeting with Wolfe Tones after a comfortable six point win at Pairc Tailteann. The winners were 1-9 to 0-0 up after twenty minutes.

Castletown will meet Ballinlough in the Intermediate championship semi final. The 'Lough' had four points to spare over Dunderry. A goal from Seanie Geraghty with ten minutes remaining was crucial to the win. Castletown produced a fine second half performance to see of St Colmcilles. The teams were level 1-7 each at the break.

Cortown will meet St Peters Dunboyne in the Junior Championship final after their wins over Clonard and Simonstown.

Seneschalstown have set up a Junior B football championship final meeting with Wolfe Tones. Tones had five points to spare over St Vincents while Seneschalstown acconted for Duleek Bellewstown.
