Camogie: Dunboyne lose unbeaten tag

September 10, 2014

Dunboyne senior camogiers lost their unbeaten tag in this years championship, by a comprehensive loss to reigning champions Kilmessan.
Dunboyne started well, and went ahead in the first few minutes with a goal by corner forward Sinead Clince. However, Kilmessan showed why they have been the champions over the last few year begining a blitz of scores soon after, lead by full forward Francis Lynch.

Dunboyne will feel they left a lot behind them last night. Remaining unbeaten so far into championship is no mean feat, and previous preformances and results from this years championship highlight how capable they are. They can also take some consolation in the fact they got 5 impressive goals past the Kilmessan keeper.

Dunboyne had qualified for the semi-finals already, last nights match only confirming who they were playing. The grils will meet Trim this Saturday, with dates and times still yet to be confirmed. Dunboyne know they have to step it up a gear, in order to improve from last year, and reach this years final.
