Best wishes to Meath senior hurler Ciaran Fitzsimons who is currently recovering from a head injury in Beaumont Hospital.
The 21-year-old - who captained Meath to All-Ireland MHC 'B' honours in 2011 - was the victim of an assault in Athboy in the early hours of Sunday morning which is currently under investigation by Kells Gardai.
Let's hope it's not too long before he is back on the playing field representing Clann na nGael and the Royal County.
