Na Fianna 2-14
Dunshaughlin 0-11

Na Fianna travelled to Dunshaughlin on Thursday night where a strong second half display earned them a place in this year's AFL Division 1 final, their third consecutive league final having won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two years.

Na Fianna enjoyed a great start to this game, where Jamie Queeney opened the scoring with a point before capitalising on a short kickout which he collected and dispatched to the net. The home side then came back strongly, defending strongly and breaking out at pace where they worked the ball into scoring positions. These runs forced the concession of some close-in frees by Na Fianna and the home side took advantage of these. Queeney added another point before Shane Barrett added their final score of the half as Na Fianna trailed by 0-7 to 1-03 at half time.

Na Fianna sprung to life in the second half with Ollie Lewis and Ailbhe Mahon beginning to win the midfield. Daniel Queeney got the opening score, followed by Barrett and Jamie Queeney efforts as Na Fianna took control. Lewis scored a fine point while Anthony Neary remained calm under pressure from defenders to take his point. The game was put out of Dunshaughlin's sight when Daniel Queeney calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner with ten minutes remaining. The home side threatened in attack but high balls into the box were excellently fielded by Shane Geraghty in goals as Na Fianna finished strongly to advance to a final meeting with St Peter's, Dunboyne.

Best for Na Fianna: Shane Geraghty, John Baldwin, Anthony Neary, Christy Cosgrave, Ollie Lewis, Daniel Queeney, Jamie Queeney, Conor Downey and Evan Henrick.
