Wind assisted Oldcastle stayed in touch for much of the first half thanks to some good defending but trailed at half time on a score-line of 1-6 to 0-7 with Thomas O'Reilly contributing 1-4 of the first half Tones scores.
In the second half Tones gradually made their dominance pay off on the score board and ran out comfortable winners.
