Kiltale grabbed the semi-final spot in div 2 hurling league after a 10 point win over Kildalkey in Kiltale on monday evening.
The result sees Kiltale through as winners of their group with Kilskyre claiming 2nd spot in their division.
Scores were hard to come by in the first half and Kiltale went in at half time leading by 1pt on a scoreline of 5pts to 4pts.
Kiltale enjoyed the better of the early exchanges and raced into a lead of 4pts to 1 pt after 20 minutes with points from Kyle Benson 2,stephen White 1pt and Willie Harnan 1 pt.
Kildalkey replied with 3 pointed frees before Padraig Kelly pointed a 65.
The second half seen Kiltale starting brightly with points from Stephen White 3 and Padraig Donoghue 1pt and Willie Harnan with 2 great points before finishing off a great Kiltale move to the Kildalkey nett giving Stephen Masterson no chance.
Further points from Padraig Kelly after great work by Johnny Carey and a huge effort from Daren Brennan at midfield gave Kiltale a comfortable lead.
Kildalkey responded with 3 points from frees before Kiltale finished off the scoring with a great effort for substitute Ronan Ryan.
Kiltale had great performances from Sean Carroll at full back and Johnny Carey and Padraig Kelly in the half back line.
Daren Brennan and Brendan Dixon were on top at midfield which ensured a great supply of balls into the forwards.
Up front Kiltale had good performances from Stephen Cummins,Kyle Benson,stephen White along with Willie Harnan and Padraig Donoghue.
