Summerhill put an end to a three game losing run by beating visitors Gaeil Colmcille by six points on Saturday evening.
The home team registered 1-8 in the opening half and led by five at the interval.
The second half was an even affair on the scoring front but Summerhill were able to bag two goals which helped see them over the finishing line.
David Larkin (two) and Barry Dardis got the goals for the winners. Five other players got on the score sheet for Summerhill.
