July 19, 2014
Dunderry 3-14
Nobber 1-14

These two rivals took too the pitch again Friday evening in Dunderry and produced a good open game of football.

The home side opened the scoring with a fine point from Peter Casey in the 3rd min he followed this with points in the 5th,8th and 11th. Nobber replied with a point but Eoghan Daly replied in the 14th min with a point, then in a 10 minute spell Dunderry scored 2-3 with (2-1) from Shane Gartland and a point a piece from Jack Brady and Alex Walsh. In the 28th min Gartland got his 3rd goal, Nobber got a goal midway through the half and 2points at the end of the first half to leave the half time score 3-8 to 1-5 in the home sides favour.

The 2nd half Nobber knocked over 2 quick points but Conor Rattigan put over a point, scores from Casey (0-2), and points from Walsh, Lawless and a 2nd from Rattigan saw Dunderry extend their lead. But Nobber came back with a couple of points and only for a brilliant one handed save from Eoin Smyth it could have been closer, the final score was 3-14 to 1-14.
