IHC: Garvey's return ignites Kiltale challenge.

Paul Garvey arrived back from Australia to get Kiltale back on track in the intermediate championship last night in Ratoath when the overcame a Dunboyne outfit to get their first win of this year.

Kiltale started brightly with scores from Padraig Kelly opts, T.J Lynch 2pts and a great effort from Paul Garvey from out on the right.

Daren Brennan and Brendan Dixon began to dominate around the middle of the field and Padraig Donoghue and Lynch and Garvey along with Willie Harnan were a constant treat up front.

Kiltale finished at half time ahead on scoreline of 6pts to 3pts.

The second half was dominated by Kiltale who were very strong in defence with Sean Carroll and Shane Brown on top in the full back line and Padraig Kelly and Johnny Carey and Daragh Branigan attacking from the half back line creating great opportunities for the forwards.

A goal from Padraig Donoghue after great work by Lynch and Harnan and another fine point from Garvey after a great pass from Kyle Benson but 7pts between the sides.

Padraig Kelly hit a great point from play followed up by 3 pointed 65's and Stephen White and T.J Lynch finished the game with scores for Kiltale.
