Championship fever this weekend

The race for the holy grail begins this weekend.
Keegan Cup holders Summerhill face the team they beat in last years decider, Na Fianna, in Pairc Tailteann. Last years intermediate winners, Gaeil Colmcille, return to the senior grade with a tough assignment against Dunshaughlin. The tie of the round sees Navan O'Mahonys clash with Seneschalstown while the meeting of neighbours Simonstown and Walterstown is a must see game.
Favourites for the Intermediate championship, Ratoath, kick off against St. Ultans at Walterstown. Finalists from last year, Clan Na nGael take on Donaghmore Ashbourne in Dunsany. Junior champions Drumbaragh face up to Trim while north Meath neighbours Syddan and Nobber collide in Drumconrath.
Millbrook in the venue for the clash of neighbours St Brigids and Moylagh in the first game of the junior championship. Favourites for outright success, Curraha, travel to Ratoath to take on Kilbride. The meeting of Drumconrath and Dunsany should provide the tie of the round while Junior B winners, Boardsmill, have a tough assignment against Meath Hill.
