Five euro admission charge into local championship games in the group phase.
Treasurer Brendan Dempsey announced that the five euro admission charge into local championship games in the group phase will remain in operation for the foreseeable future at the April County Committee meeting.

He urged clubs to continue the good work which they started last year, adding that there will be visits to club grounds by county officers for spot checks.

"There should be no need for members of the county committee to be made feel unwelcome, so don't get excited when you see us coming," said Dempsey.

Chairman Conor Tormey praised the efforts of the Meath under-21 football team in reaching the Leinster final and the county senior football side on their progress, also paying tribute to the respective management teams.

The next four County Committee meetings will be held outside Navan, May in Donaghmore/Ashbourne, June in Meath Hill, July in Stamullen and August in Summerhill.
