Former Westmeath dual star Paul Greville has been granted a transfer from his native football club Killucan to Derrytresk in Tyrone.

Greville, who retired from inter-county hurling last December after 15 years of service to the Lake County before taking up a role in new manager Shane O'Brien's backroom team, is available to play for the 'Men from the Hill' in Sunday week's season reopener with Killeeshil.

Though better known as a hurler, the two-time Christy Ring Cup medallist and five-time Westmeath SHC winner with Raharney is an accomplished footballer and played in the 2015 Leinster SFC final.
