The recent Royal House Draw fell well short of projected figures with John Kavanagh informing delegates that they didn’t yet have a final tally but it was in the region of €300,000.

He said there was a fall off in sale from clubs but hoped that a €1m profit could still be reached if everyone put their shoulder to the wheel for the final draw which is scheduled for December 28th.

The annual Race Day in Fairyhouse takes place on Sunday, December 1st. A draw for a number of tables between participating clubs will take place at the November meeting.
