Ashbourne Community School are once again Leinster B Senior Football Champions.

Ashbourne Community School 6-7 Skerries CS 4-8. 

In what can only be described as a frantic game the Ashbourne lads eventually ran out winners on a score line of 6-7 to 4-8 against a gallant Skerries Community College side.

The game ebbed and flowed in blustery conditions in Abbotstown. Conditions did play a big part in the game with players taking a long time to adjust to the wind. 

Ashbourne led by 7 at the break and despite a second half onslaught from Skerries ACS dug in to win by 5 when the full time whistle sounded. 

Ashbourne now progress to play Rathmore of Kerry in the All Ireland Semi Final on Saturday the 23rd of March.
