Sean Powter has been named in Cork’s 26-man squad for Sunday afternoon’s Allianz Football League clash with Meath at Pairc Ui Rinn.
The Douglas clubman hasn’t featured for the Leesiders since the opening round of last year’s Division 2 campaign against Tipperary after suffering a serious hamstring tear.
Rebels boss Ronan McCarthy has named the talented 21-year-old on the bench for the Royals' visit this weekend, with Brian Hurley and Mark Collins also named amongst the substitutes.
Veteran Paul Kerrigan is down to start at left corner-forward while Paul Walsh also comes into the defence from the Round 3 defeat to Clare in Ennis.
